Notice: Red Mobile stopped its services in July 2012

Red Mobile is the new brand name replacing Umobile owned by CURE telecom that uses 3G network to make calls and send text messages. CURE is owned by Smart Communications.

Red Mobile logoImportant things to know about Red Mobile:

  • Red Mobile SIM is now available on selected retail outlets for P 39.
  • Prefix number is 0938. Customization of mobile numbers is not available anymore.
  • Cost of voice calls per minute, text, and MMS is P 0.50 (Red Mobile to Red Mobile)
  • A 3G mobile phone is required. You will need to set the network settings on your 3G handset to 3G / Dual mode or UMTS mode. If you’re looking for a cheap 3G phone to use with Red Mobile, try LG KU250.

To activate your Red Mobile’s 3G / MMS settings, text

This is my Red Mobile SIM. I still haven’t received the SIM that Red Mobile promised so I bought this one from a small store in Alabang-Las Pinas area.

Phase-out na daw yung red sa lahat, pero dahil nagtanong-tanong yung bf ko sa mga pinsan niya baka may red pa silang active pa, buti na lang meron at hiningi nya at pinadala dito sa Manila all the way from Jagna, Bohol.nang dahil sa red, walang araw na hindi kami nag-uusap ng bf ko.Sulit na sulit sa red grabe!THANKS TO RED 🙂

  12. san ba ko pwedeng mag apply na customer service ng red??? nakaka badtrip eh, subscriber kame pero ganito service nyo… walang nasagot sa tawag, di pa maka contact… di pa ko maka connect sa 30mins. call nyo…. la ba kayong cellsite dito sa muntinlupa??? nag iinvalid ung sim ko kainis

    alang kuwenta,pagka activate ko ng unli30,itinawag q kaagad sa gf qo(smart).sa umpisa,ok pa pero after 2 hours nang babaran sa call lagi nang disconnected.meron bang tech support na pwedeng tawagan ang red?kc ung *999 answering machine,wala akong makausap na agent.pakibigay naman ung number e2 digitz q: 09382538359or sa smart ko 09217521929hanggang maexpire cguro load ko ganun pa rin eh

  17. RedMOBILE….1. Walang PACKET DATA (GPRS Access). Di pwedeng gamitin sa INTERNET. Simula ng naging 2G kayo.2. Dati 3G signal nyo, ngayun 2G nalang ang signal na gamit nyo, bakit nyo tinanggal ang 3G signal? Dapat 2G at 3G ang signal nyo…3. May unlimited call/text sa Smart Network pero umaangal ang SMART/TnT subscribers kasi nachacharge ang SMART/TnT subscriber ng P1 sa kanilang regular load pag nagreply sa REDMOBILE imbes na sa unlitext or other sms package macharge…. That’s unfair, dapat kung pwede ang redmobile unlitext/call sa SMART/TnT dapat ganun din ang SMART/TnT na pwedeng unlicall/text sa REDMOBILE.4. Same network ang SMART/TnT/Redmobile pero walang pasalod from redmobile to smart/tnt or vice versa…Hay, service nyo BULOK pa rin….

  18. nagagamit ko sya, matipid.. tawagan lang kami lagi ng gf ko.. di naman yata kelangan astig pa cp mo, china fone lang gamit ko eh.. no problems naman kahit di 3G
