Social Security System (SSS) Text-SSS service allows SSS members to check their contributions, loan status, loan balance, status of loan applications, and get updates on their claims using a mobile phone. Using this service, members can now avoid long lines at SSS branches. This service was launched in February 2010 ^[1].

Inquiries cost Php 2.50 for Globe and Smart subscribers; Php 2.00 for Sun subscribers. Just text the keywords below to 2600.

To register for Text-SSS Service, type

SSS REG <SSS Number> <MM/DD/YY>

SSS (2600) will send a text message containing your 4-digit PIN.

To retrieve PIN,

SSS RESET <SSS Number> <MM/DD/YY>

SSS (2600) will send a text message containing your new 4-digit PIN.

SSS (2600) will send a text message with total number of contributions and the month of latest contribution.
