Land Transportation Office (LTO) is an agency of the Philippine government responsible for improving land transportation services and facilities and implementing various transportation laws, rules, and regulations.
LTO’s Info-Text service will allow any person with a mobile phone to ask LTO about rules and procedures, and even data on certain vehicles.

kung papaano malalaman na nakapangalan
ang sasakyan sa may-ari?
kse may nagbenta sakin ng sasakyan
eh hindi tlga yun may-ari nag alok.eh gsto ko malaman kung kanino
naka pangalan.

Yung bang mga rehistro ng sasakyan nuon na hindi under ng computerized system eh wla talaga records dun sa LTO na pinagrehistrohan?

I try to use this services Like I text LTO LICENSE GKL234 but it responded my the plate number is invalid

please be careful in buying 2nd hand cars.
I happened to buy a second hand car sept 2009 last yeat and used LTO info service to check for alarms. It was all clear. When I bought the car, the dealer transferred the OR/CR to my name. It was all original and legal OR/CR, I even checked in in camp crame. LTO even said my papers are clean.
Just two weeks ago, a sheriff, CIDG and a rep of a credit corporation went to our home to get the car from me. They said the car is alarmed because the it was used as a colateral for a loan. The loan was done 5 months before I bought the car. I wasn’t able to do anything because they have a court order.
I am now car-less and traumatized! so buyers beware!

hi po. i tried LTO VEHICLE search but of no record ang reply. ibig po bang sabihin nun hindi registered yung sasakyan? gusto ko sana pong magpatulong me hinahanap po akong me ari ng sasakyan at kung san address po. Salamat po.

@ Josie, try mo LTO VEHICLE (plate number) example na text ay LTO VEHICLE ABC123 then send to 2600….

meron ako nasundan vios plate number NSS200 nag check ako lto tru text ang nag apear isuzu hindi vios, going isabela region 2 ung sasakyan

@unlucky – you should file a complaint to the DTI. Know your consumer rights. if you already have the original OR/CR under your name then the credit company no longer has the authority to get your car because the owner is different from the one who took the loan from them. Bka binayaran lang ng credit company ang sheriff at CIDG agent para matakot ka. the fact na nai transfer sa yo ang name ng registration is enough proof that you are now the new owner of the car and has no obligation to the credit company.

helo po! katulad po ako nang situation kay josie.. no record po ang response nila.. ang sabi nang dealer sa amin ay 2 years nang hindi na rehistro ang sasakyan, meaning noong 2008 pa ang huli nitong registration.. tsaka, medyo huli po kasi ang computerized na registration smin, un lang bang na computerized na ang ma te-trace nila? pls.. help us po.. interesado po kasi ako sa sasakyan..
