BPI mobile banking on Globe (USSD-based)

Notice: BPI's USSD-based mobile banking is no longer available since Oct 31, 2018

BPI’s mobile banking facility through USSD *119#, allows BPI account holders to do banking transactions such as check account balance, perform fund transfers, reload prepaid, or load their GCASH wallet using their mobile phones.

Here’s how to use BPI Express Mobile via USSD *119# on your Globe/TM cellphone.

A. Register for BPI Express Mobile

  1. Enroll your BPI account number
    1. Dial *119# using your Globe/TM cellphone
    2. Choose BPI > Other Services > Register
    3. Choose SA/CA, then enter Account/Card No. in the following format (e.g. SA1234). It must be 2-letter Account Type (SA = Savings Account, CA = Checking Account) and last 4 digits of your account number
    4. Enter your Joint Account Indicator (JAI)
    5. BPI will send a text message confirming that your enrollment was successful
  2. Activate your enrollment through any of BPI’s ATMs nationwide
    1. Insert Express Teller ATM Card
    2. Key-in your Pesonal Identification Number (PIN)
    3. Choose Special Services. Choose Activate Enrollment
    4. Choose EConnect – SMS Enrollment
    5. BPI will send a text message containing your initial Mobile PIN (MPIN) after (1) banking day
  3. Change the initial MPIN to your own MPIN
    1. Dial *119# using your Globe/TM cellphone
    2. Choose BPI > Account Maintenance > Change MPIN
    3. Enter Old MPIN, then enter New MPIN
    4. BPIMobile will send a text message upon successful MPIN change. Now, you are ready to use BPI Express Mobile!

B. Use BPI Express Mobile

  1. Balance Inquiry for Deposit Accounts (Savings or Checking)
    1. Choose Balance Inquiry from the BPI Mobile menu
    2. Enter your 6-digit Mobile PIN (MPIN)
    3. Choose Deposits
    4. Choose List Accounts
    5. Choose an account
    6. BPIMobile will send a text message containg the balance of your chosen account
       
  2. Fund Transfer
    1. Choose Fund Transfer from the BPI Mobile menu
    2. Enter your 6-digit Mobile PIN (MPIN)
    3. Enter the amount to be transferred
    4. Choose Enter Account to manually enter the source bank account number and the recipient’s bank account number
    5. Enter the source account number in the following format (e.g. SA1234). It must be 2-letter Account Type (SA = Savings Account, CA = Checking Account) and last 4 digits of your account number
    6. Enter 10-digit account number of the recipient
    7. Choose Confirm to proceed with the transfer
    8. BPIMobile will send a text message containing the details of the fund transfer
       
  3. BPI to GCash Transfer. Transaction fee is Php 1.00 to be deducted from your BPI account. If you want to transfer Php 8,000 to your GCash wallet, you will be charged Php 8,001 from your BPI account.
    1. Choose GCash Transfer from the BPI Mobile menu
    2. Choose Bank to GCash
    3. Enter your 6-digit Mobile PIN (MPIN)
    4. Enter the amount to be transferred
    5. Choose Enter Account to manually enter the source bank account number
    6. Enter the source account number in the following format (e.g. SA1234). It must be 2-letter Account Type (SA = Savings Account, CA = Checking Account) and last 4 digits of your account number
    7. Choose Confirm to proceed with the transfer
    8. BPI will send a text message containing the details of the GCash transfer
       
  4. GCash to BPI Transfer. Transaction fee is Php 20 (to be deducted from your BPI account). If you want to transfer Php 8,000 to your BPI account, the transaction fee would be Php 20, therefore you will be debited Php 8,000 from GCash and Php 20 from your BPI account.
    1. Choose GCash Transfer from the BPI Mobile menu
    2. Choose GCash to Bank
    3. Enter your 6-digit Mobile PIN (MPIN)
    4. Enter the amount to be transferred
    5. Enter your 4-digit GCash PIN
    6. Choose Enter Account to manually enter the receiving bank account number
    7. Enter the destination account number in the following format (e.g. SA1234). It must be 2-letter Account Type (SA = Savings Account, CA = Checking Account) and last 4 digits of your account number
    8. Choose Confirm to proceed with the transfer
    9. BPI will send a text message containing the details of the GCash transfer
        
  5. Prepaid Reload
    1. Choose Reload from the BPI Mobile menu
    2. Enter your 6-digit Mobile PIN (MPIN)
    3. Choose Globe if you are loading a Globe prepaid cellphone; TM for Touch Mobile;  Others for other networks
    4. Select the amount to be reloaded
      1. Globe – 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000
      2. TM – 50, 100, 200, 400, 1000
      3. Others – enter the amount
    5. Choose Enter Account to manually enter the source bank account number
    6. Enter the source account number in the following format (e.g. SA1234). It must be 2-letter Account Type (SA = Savings Account, CA = Checking Account) and last 4 digits of your account number
    7. Enter the 11-digit prepaid cellphone number
    8. Choose Confirm to proceed with the reload
    9. BPIMobile will send a text message containing the details of the prepaid reload
