Sun Cellular takes lead in mobile postpaid market

Sun Cellular, a subsidiary of Gokongwei-owned Digital Telecommunications Inc (Digitel), was the first telecom to hit 1 million in postpaid subscriptions.
As of June 2010, Ayala-owned Globe Telecom had 909,000 postpaid subscribers. Meanwhile, PLDT group’s wireless unit, Smart Communications had a total of 439,844 postpaid subscribers for the first half of 2010. Continue Reading
