and there are more. But lately, a series of text jokes mentioned a maid with a unique personality and stood out in the text messaging community. She’s the english-speaking Inday, also termed as Inday Sosyal or Sossy Inday. Unlike Ederlyn, Sossy Inday’s first text message is already worth forwarding:

The funny thing about Sossy Inday is not only her ability to speak in straight English but also her complicated, technical way of answering that made her boss feel stupid.

So it’s not surprising that, whatever fame Ederlyn had during her time would also happen to Sossy Inday. But we didn’t expect she’ll be more popular.

Comparing Ederlyn and Inday, the latter had a total of 80 text messages and counting, but the former only had 32 (as of this writing). Inday has 2 blogs, one on blogspot and one on wordpress, while Ederlyn only had a friendster account. Not only that.
